It’s that time of year again…time for some well-deserved relaxation with family and friends as we unwind from what has been an extremely eventful year. This holiday season, my medical staff and I would like to thank all of you for making 2015 so memorable. In the more than twenty-five years that I have been a board-certified plastic surgeon and otolaryngologist in Atlanta, one of the things that I have valued most has been the strong relationships that I have built with my patients. Thank you all for being a part of our lives.
This year has been witness to several exciting announcements. It has always been my philosophy that a graduated approach to the treatment of facial aging yields the most natural looking results. I have often found that comparatively minor, subtle procedures, like Botox® cosmetic injectables or dermal fillers, can help keep the skin firm and lifted while significantly delaying the time when more comprehensive plastic surgery procedures may become necessary. At our practice, many of these non-surgical facial anti-aging treatments are performed by Nurse Debra (Debi), NP-C, an Advance Practice Registered Nurse, Board Certified Plastic Surgery Nurse, Certified Peri-Operative Nurse, and Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) with nearly thirty years of surgical nursing experience. This year Nurse Debi has started offering a new cosmetic injectable concierge service, allowing patients to receive Botox® or Juvéderm® treatments in the comfort of their own homes.
In addition, I am honored to say that I was once again recognized as an Atlanta “Top Doc” in the field of plastic surgery by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. for the seventh year in a row, an honor that I consider a testament to the enduring support of my amazing staff and to the inspiration I draw from all of my patients. You can read about many of the amazing patients that I have had the privilege of serving in the regular Spotlight Patient Blogs that are frequently featured on our website.
We hope everyone enjoys this month celebrating the holidays! We all look forward to seeing new patients and visiting with returning ones in months to come and wish you all good health and happiness in 2016.
