Maxillofacial Surgery
Maxillofacial surgery is a type of facial reconstructive surgery to remedy the physical symptoms of an array of congenital defects, injuries to the face, and disease that affects the face, head, neck, and/or jaws. As a board certified Otolaryngologist (surgery of the head and neck) and plastic and reconstructive surgeon, Dr. Fernando Burstein has devoted much of his attention to educating medical peers on maxillofacial surgery techniques.
