Michelle Coppenger, RN
Registered Nurse
Aesthetic Consulting Imaging Specialist
Michelle Coppenger is Dr. Burstein’s Aesthetic Consulting Imaging Specialist. During patient consultations, Michelle takes the patient’s before photos, uploads them into imaging software, and then works with the photos to show patients a representation, based on their surgical goals, of what they can accomplish with plastic surgery. Not only does computer imaging help patients develop realistic surgical expectations, but it also helps Dr. Burstein enhance patient satisfaction because he uses the images as a visual reference during surgery . Additionally, Michelle performs non-surgical facial rejuvenation procedures such as Ulthera® skin tightening and eMatrix™ non-laser resurfacing for Dr. Burstein’s Atlanta-area patients.
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Delaware. Prior to working with Dr. Burstein, Michelle assisted in the operating room at Atlanta Plastic Surgery and has worked with Atlanta Plastic Surgery for about twenty years total. Michelle loves working with patients, offering them her unique perspective and showing them what they can achieve through plastic surgery. Outside of the office, Michelle likes to play tennis and spend time with her teenage daughter. She and her daughter enjoy doing volunteer work for various outreach groups like the Community Action Center in Sandy Springs, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, National Charity League, and Foster Care Support.
